ROBs are a serious threat to the life and limb of the citizen. Suddenly the railways and the municipalities have realised so.
The deterioration of construction due to negligence of maintenance and overcrowding due to increased traffic has burdened these ROBs.
The distinct disadvantage due to cost escalation of construction and maintenance should have been considered at the time of their construction.
Instead, why not make underground subways? At least the life and limb of the citizen would not be endangered. more

Quality is always suffering in the name of Corruption.Municiple Corporation and Railways liase with corrupt contractors and this is the result.Such persons must be punished severely. more

Subways have drainage problems in addition to the same risk. Whether train traffic passes over it or road traffic passes over it, I fail to understand how the risk is different. More over, it is imprudent to assume that Railway Engineers are ignorant of their job. more

Railway Over Bridge (ROB) were constructed long back in the old style and system. With the increase in the passengers, it should be replanned and replaced. more

do not throw baby the the bath tub. Collapse of one ROB does not make them villain. Any structure if not maintained well and upgraded as required will meet the same fate. more
