RPF/ GRP issued private lease licences to Autos

People travel from long distances and arrive at their destination. From here they have to go to their homes. First our coolies begin their extortion game and loot passengers. Once the preliminary round of extortion is over, next is Auto Taxis. Our RPF/ GRP have issued licences of parking to select Autos and Taxis only after recovering Haffttas and these goons in turn loot passengers as no other means of transport is available. It is teh great private business run by taxi opeators/GRP/RPF/ Commercial department jointly. Is it not a tragedy that sometimes total taxi fare paid to these goons is higher than fare from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. When you raise objection, yoou get Indian Constitutional excuses as under:
1. Peroiodic checks were carried out and no such things were notices.
2. It is the responsiblity of LOcal RTO and our responsisbilty is to collect haffttas.
3. You come to parking space and prove who is collecting Haffttas and looting passengers.
4. Railways have CCTV footage but none will examine them. Why Railway ahs installed CCTVs all over Railway Stations . Just inspect teh footage and find out what type of dirt extortion racket is going on.
5. If Railway is unable to stop such malpractices, it shpuld ask cabinet to move a constitutionalamemndment to grant exclusive rights of Parking etc to GRP/RPF/ Commercial Dept and their touts taxi operators.
6. In some of the cases, Taxies are owned by GRP/RPF etc.
7. If you raise some more objection, they say you come and prove it and they will disclose your ifdentity to these goond.
8. What our Railway board is doing. Perhaps hardly get time from meeting big contractors afterall it is a matter of billions and Board should work for that.
9. It is high time corruption in Railway should be declared constitutional and any person raising such non sence things should be preosecuted.
10. That is how we can Make Railway as number one in the World. more

The scene at the front gate near platform No.1 where pre-paid auto stand is located issues the slip. But no autos comes inside. They just drop the passengers near the entry gate and swiftly speed away. It was with great difficulty I got an auto with the help of a policeman. ( It was the month of june. I was running around from the entry gate and pre-paid booth with my wife and luggage. I was sweating, exhausted and desperate. Any how thanks to the policeman). The rear gate of the station is filthy unorganised and in complete mess with autos and taxis. Authorities should open their eyes and act. more

Recently I returned from a trip and was shocked to note that the manner in which Nizamuddin station is so filthy, stinking from far away and to add to the misery the taxi/3 wheeler nexus with the RPF/GRP for getting a reliable drop to Gurgaon. Had to dish out 1300 as against 600 paid 7 days earlier. Cops not bothered one bit. These folks are rascals of the first order. more
Mr.Subhash Parakh is right that the coolies loot and then the Taxi autowalla loot. We are helpless in front of these goons. One solution is to carry minimum luggage . I have seen some passengers carry very high quantity of luggage ( Till I don`t know why they carry?) and the coolies target them. Once at Howrah station , one coolie told me to handover my luggage to him which I was carrying . He charged Rs.100/- for that. I told that if he had any luggage , I would be glad to carry the same and let him pay me Rs.100/- . He immediately left. Morale is to carry minimum luggage . In stations like Mumbai , there is Prepaid Taxi booth and the passengers can take the advantage . At Mumbai , Dadar station is famous for looting and cheating and our Police people just observe silently. more
Is it not too much to expect Railways to manage this also? Railways have not been able to manage it's own affairs like TTEs, Caterers, attendants, Railway stations till date. In spite Railway Minister banning certain caterers on Rajdhani Trains, those are still catering. more
