RPF guidelines for travellers (attached)

Railway Protection Force has issued guidelines for travellers as the festive season is approaching. The general public is counselled to desist from the following acts or omission while being in railway stations, trains or other railway area:

1) Not wearing a mask or wearing a mask improperly.

2) Not maintaining social distancing.

3) Coming to railway area or station or boarding a train after having declared Covid Positive.

4) Coming to railway area or station or boarding a train after giving samples for testing of corona virus and awaiting result.

5) Boarding a train after having been denied to undertake travel by the health check up team at the railway station.

6) Spitting or wilful ejection of body fluid/waste in public area.

7) Activities which may create unclean or unhygienic conditions or affect public health and safety in railway stations and trains.

8) Not adhering to any of the guidelines issued by Railway administration for prevention of spread of corona virus.

9) Any other act or omission likely to aid in spread of corona virus.

Since these acts or omissions are likely to aid in the spread of corona virus, they will tantamount to interference with passenger amenities provided by the railway administration, wilful omission or neglect endangering or causing to be endangered the safety of any person or rash and negligent act or omission likely to endanger the safety of any person travelling or being upon any railway and may be punished with imprisonment and/or fine under section 145, 153 and 154 of Railway Act 1989. more

The Govt. Should be this system Forever Post Corona Also. It will reduce the dirtiness of station. Crowd on Platform , theft , Molestation & crimes. At the same time Govt. Should allot Identity Card with Clearly Visible Vendor Name & Registration No. To Cater the food to Peoples/ Make them Compulsory that they will shed / hide the Food under Transparent Plastics Paper for Visibility. Hand Gloves are compulsory. Also Do Not allow any person to relive or to receive the passengers. Like Air Port. If Any assistance need like Wheel chair , Luggage Trolley It should be Provided with Extra Charges. It will help to Generate the Income to Licensed Porters. Only two bag of 23 " Maxm. size Per passenger is to be permitted. Extra Size is to be charged Rs. 100 Min. & Kept with Coach attendant. The All sleeper / AC Coach the end / entrances is to be modified for Extra Luggage. These are Indirect Sources of Income. Put One attendant per 3 coach & His seat is made fix at center Coach & marked / Coloured it for Prompt Identification. Give it to Private Service Provider with Proper training. If these small points are implemented then lot of employment / self employment will be created. The Pure Drinking water Trolley should be awarded to Ladies / Mahiila welfare / credit societies Water & Main the Surprise Vigilance on Stations , Food & Water Vendors / Suppliers. It will help to improve the standard of travel. more

People are in virtual stand steel position. Keeping in view the festive season and need for public to travel from place to place, the acts or omissions are likely to aid in the spread of corona virus. Hence the guidelines are appropriate. more  
Guidelines should be advertised in all available ways and lanuages, so most of the public are aware more  
Those not following n traveling stealthily should fined a min of Rs500/- or imprisoned as per laws more
