ONline Admissions for School has started from 10th Apr 2014 for class KG-10th in over 312 schools and 8500 SEATS in mumbai which is under un aided Non Minority catagory for economically weaker sections of Society. City's North zone -has 113 schools ,West -128 & South -71.
Admissions will be awarded on the basis of lottery.
www.rtemaharashtra.in is where the Parents has to register.Or for Assistance -pls call 82377 33022
All the schools in the RTE List with no of Seats will be mentioned on the website. This time No Schools can cheat the parents of Admissions as 25% is fully controlled by the State Govt and BMC.This should have been done some 20 years back....BETTER NOW THAN NEVER.

HELP DESK-BMC Timings -11am -5pm
Applicant can select 3 schools with distance of maximum 3kms.
Children from Age -2 to 7 are eligible.
Parents will be informed through SMS regarding the progress of Admissions.
ANY PROBLEMS KINDLY ENSURE THE MATTER IS REPORTED. PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR ADMISSIONS THROUGH ANY BROKERS AS THIS IS TOTALLY ONLINE.
