Which all can be included under rti act.. I mean which all kinds of information can be obtained
.For eg if a university has debarred a lecturer from paper valuation due to unfair marks for a certain period is it possible to obtain that details like so and so person was debarred for this reason etc..
Suppose a college lecturer was debarred by university from paper valuation for 3years
And now that 3years is over
.The person again started paper valuation
Then can a third party submit application under rti act to get information about the period for which the particular person was debarred and the reason for the same

Third party can file Application under RTI to get information not about his Personal matters but particular about his conducts . Reason is to study his conduct and if conduct & behavior not satisfactory I am liberty to ask what was the action taken in the matter because he is Public servant.. Kindly note: you can only ask for information ie. data or records. you cannot ask why and where? in your case if you know the name of the person concerned, ask for a copy of the order by which he was debarred. Second you can ask for copies of office notes ie. file notes that was submitted to re-employ the person (take name) You can ask for a copy of the office order by which he was relived of the bar or restigation or penal action. Yes you ca also ask for the copies of the file and file notes and office procedures (write-ups) and the copies of processing (procedures) adopted and the copy of the order debarring him. You can also ask for copies of the meetings or panel meetings, an the copies of the clause and section of the law which was applied to debar him/her from being employed to examine papers. remember to post the material preferably by speed post with P.O.D. (proof of delivery) If you do not get the reply or not getting all information you can appeal to the appellate withing 1 month. And if you do not get proper reply or get no reply at all you can appraoch the chief information commissioner of the state. more

Keep the relevant copy with you. Any of the Order adverse to the effect can be appealed in the Higher Authorities i.e. State Commission. Till that time - advisable - wait and watch. more

Theoretically any information can be asked for and obtained. However, many times we come across so called smart officials in the system who take pride in twisting the request rather than giving requested input. With time, of course, they also get heckled. more

The fee of Rs. 10 can be paid through IPO / DD/ court fee stamps etc as per the Act. The information to be asked should be like you are asking for copy of a document. In the instant cases you should ask "Kindly provide a copy of the list of cases of Names of Lecturers debarred from attending evaluation / invigilation and the period of such prohibition" ordered during 2012 to 2017 year wise. If you start seeking opinion or question the decision, the PIO will avoid giving information under the Act. Above all find locally some more people interested in a clean society to join, to discuss and finalize the applications for information. Let us fight against corruption collectively as the corrupt are powerful due to ill gotten money.
