RUDE BEHAVIOUR BY SHATABDI TC ON 7TH MAY 2016 TO
MY FRIEND DAUGHTER WAS TRAVELING FROM MUMBAI TO SURAT ON SHATABDI EXP ON 7TH MAY 2016 PNR 8533968017 COACH C/7 SEAT NO 70, SHE WAS CARRYING PROPER PROOF AND SMS ON HER MOBILE. THE TICKET WAS PREPARED ON HER INITAIAL AS P P KAPADIA WITH PROPER AGE. THE TICKET CHECKER RUDELY TOLD HER TAHAT THIS TICKET IS NOT VALID AS ONLY INITIALS ARE WRITTEN (P P KAPADIA) THIS TIME I AM ALLOWING YOU BUT NEXT TIME YOU HAVE TO PAY FINE AS TICKET LESS TRAVEL. THE IDENTITY CARD SHOWED HER NAME AND SURNAME WITH AGE, HOW COME THE TICKET CHECKER CAN DO THIS. more

Mr. Vidyasagar if someone has long name then there is no problem but you have to mention your first name and your last name you can use short forms for your middle name. more

When TTE give s u a receipt, he is not corrupt. Also there should be another more credible ID in the form of Aadhar card linked to the ticket and the passenger must carry that. more

How can people with long names write the whole name when the space provided is not enough. Either Railways should give more space separately for given name and surname and allow the passenger to fill it fully. For example I have a long name and Telugu people have their surnames first unlike others. So we have several combinations and Railways should address all these issues and make the journey a pleasant one. more

writing Initials are not allowed and it is assumed that you are travelling on some ones else ticket. You must thanks the TTE that he allowed to travel but as per law you are treated without ticket and you are charged for ticket and fine. hence your have insulted the TTE for being soft on you. more
