Safety Best Practices followed by RWAs
We would like to seek your inputs on safety best practices that are being utilized by your RWA or various societies/colonies in Delhi. Kindly share practices like background verification of staff, CCTV monitoring, Security staff Do's/Dont's, Vendors Do's/Dont's, music/party guidelines etc or anything else that you feel is a practice that makes your society/colony a safe place to live.
We hope that such an exercise will promote knowledge exchange and make RWAs learn from each other and make living in Delhi better and safer.

I seriously think that Delhi Police should conduct surprise check on the marshals deployed in DTC buses. There is a complete lack of dedication to work with most youngsters preferring to just side beside the conductor or behind the driver chatting away on their cell phone. Yesterday in Route:429 (Red Bus) passengers were in an altercation over A.C. not being switched on while the marshal was completely oblivious and in his own chat world. Saw the same case in Route:392 where a young Sikh marshal was busy on phone at peak office closing time around 7:30P.M. in Noida and the driver got pissed off and stopped the bus as commuters had jammed the entry door. Seems these youngsters are just on a fun ride and not serious work management as perhaps no training has been provided to them. more
