Safety Norms

It is not only the Question of Fire Norms. All kinds of RULES & REGULATIONS are regularly flouted in our great India. Reasons are many. One important reason is that the Authorities which are supposed to implement them are easily purchased. Most of them are concerned with only their 'Monthly Charges'. They just collect them and then go away happily. Those who flout the Rules are certainly happier.
Another reason is that those who flout the Rules know it well that they cannot be harmed. Even if caught, the COURT CASES will linger for decades and finally they will be let free. There is no way to improve the situation till our POLITICIANS become honest or we elect only the Honest people..
Whenever some big tragedy happens, noise is there. After few weeks everything is forgotten. Refer the incidences of past and we cannot infer anything else. The same will be the case with recent HOTEL FIRE too. more

Until our misconception of democracy is removed and the politicians irrespective of the parties they are affiliated to, behave in the right perspective for the greater interest of the nation and its citizens, forgetting the vote bank politics, any improvement in the existing situation is unlikely to take place. Meanwhile, we also need a review of our Constitution and carry out necessary amendments on various areas as per the need of the hour and the nation in the present context. Our existing leaders and parties should also jointly and severally vow to field in elections only such candidates who have high morale character and to render selfless services to the nation. more
Major loopholes: 1. Lapse of Regulations on Electioneering , Parties, Candidature, Elected Members..2. Wrong listing 7th Schedule bypassing Constitutional Mandates.. 3. Separation of clause 2 to 6 from Clause-1 , a to g of Article 19.. 4. Derivative clauses of Article 14 when issues of society / Country' s Heritage/ Culture ARISE.. 5. Elimination of Supreme Court' s Supremacy for implementation of Constitutional Mandates.

This is WHY Nation ' s Economy and Citizens' s Savings getting ever looted depriving the Owners, i.e., Citizens ' s rights IN THE COUNTRY. more
In general the common man does not flout rules. Persons with some influence do it. Why are they doing it. The law enforcement is not strict for all and inaddition the available resources are limited and the demand is more. So the enforcing authorities turn the other way as they are unable to enforce it. When some money is offered they accept and show no reaction. more
A very correct assessment of the ills in our system. The more stringent our rules and norms the greater is the opportunity for corruption to thrive. Governments come and go but the beaurocracy is not doing enough to give a clean system. Sad. more
Could it also be that the rules and regulations are outdated and impossible to fulfill in their entirety and therefore some modification/modernization and common sense must be applied? more
Corruption-the owners who float such norms are the owners and they are in political power.Make India a developed country, and all these things gets slowly curtailed. The young enterprenures/politicians have a role to play to bring India internationally in to better grade in 20-25 rank in all spheras of development. more
