Sales return equipment sold was not working.

How can account for the asset id changes when the invoice is already updated on GSTN and claimed by the vendor. We are seeking for a replacement. Will it be considered as a sales return or sales replacement and nothing needs to ne done on the website. How do you account for the new asset id. more

Shashank, The supplier should issue a credit note for the machine returned and issue a fresh invoice for the replacement sent. These should be booked in current month's GST return. CA Ashok Malhotra Cell - 9313888859 more

Shashank. 12/2/18 As per the procedure the vendor has to raise the debit note to you by sending back the machine with Ewaybill and you are eligible to claim itc on such, by duly updated with GSTR1 RETURNS BY THE VENDOR AND GSTR2 validation from your end. The depreciation as per ITAX is not eligible for such vendor. Please be aware that THERE IS NO SUCH WORD NOTHING TO BE DONE for a registered/compiled to be registered as per provisions of any fiscal law irrespective of web upload, leaving the actual accountability.
