Samjhauta Express Suspension
Why is India and indian railways not looking at temporarily discontinuing samjhauta express till things improve.
Not only will this curb illegal trade it will also reduce the risk of potential terrorist landing up at old delhi station.
Please give ur thoughts and may be police foundation or localcircles can take this to Rail Minister or home Minister. more

In my view Samjhauta express should have been stopped after Pathankot incident. We should cut off all relations with Pakistan, as they do not deserve any leeway. It is easy to break relations but will take long way to rebuild them. We should put in place proper security network to stop smuggling of man and material through Samjauota Express and not stop it. Smuggling is a general feature which is happening from all borders and countries like China, Bangladesh sea route air route etc. Can some one propose to stop all air and sea traffic to stop smuggling of goods into the country. more

i think when our forces are engaged with terrorist who are being helped by pakistan army, when we are stopping all cultural ties, pakistan artists are banned then y not Samjhauta Express suspended. everything pakistan should be stopped or banned till our relations become better.railways should stop plying samjhauta express too more

I think our Govt is looking into all factors and taking appropriate steps. You may be aware that they are looking into the indus water treaty agreed in the 60s. The delay in arresting the train service may be a strategic decision taken by the Govt consciously. We, the people of this country should provide strength to out Govt by raising our points for their attention. It seems that we have a Govt now. Thanks more
