Samsung deliberate scam

I've been trying to get my phone fixed for a month now from samsung for a issue they created for free of charge, but they are refusing saying the device is 2nd hand (which is true) and they won't do free of charge service (even if they are the ones broke it) for 2nd hand devices. The issue that i'm facing a widespread issue (just search "galaxy note 9 display discoloration" and you can find multiple sites saying the same) and we have a group in telegram with 500+ people facing the same issue, but still, samsung is refusing to fix it. I have already launched a complaint in consumer helpline with docket number: 2100347 but it's been left at pending for a while now. Please help me get through this situation, how can a company scam it's customers like this? more

I think being a second hand looks to be a problem. As suggested, since, you have lodged a complaint with consumer forum, it will meet its logical end. However, please follow up with Consumer forum and get their first opinion whether your complaint stands valid or not, else, sometime, they fine the consumer too. more
Note down the MSIN number, the model number with details. Go to Samsung site, write down all your details and send complaint to Samsung India directly. Keep all copies of this communication as it might be needed. Most important, you must have the purchase bill (original 1st purchase) with you to do anything. If you don't have this bill then seek help from a good mobile repair center and get your work done and also check cost vs Samsung galary cost. more
Please check whether the Mobile carries the BIS Registration Mark (CRS). If yes, then check the Model No. by entering the R- No. mention of the Mobile on BIS website more
Pl check warranty clause. Perhaps 2nd owner is not eligible for continued warranty more
The only option is to aporoach the consuler court. All of you shoul aporoach together so that it will have real impact. more
