SANCTION OF PENSION.

I have retired from service on 31.12.2012, though I submitted all relevant documents and sent several reminders to R.O. Thane, no response received yet.
Please help me out to receive the pension.

Jayarajan, you will need to visit the PF office and talk with the officials there. If that does not work then you should write to the PMO's office to take up the matter and trust me, this is very effective as the PM's office does a real good job! Good Luck, Sanjana more

It is not clear whether you worked with the employer continuously or had you worked with different employers? If you had worked with different employers, first of all your previous accounts should be transferred to the the PF Account of your last employer. If this is done, you can write to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner of respective EPFO giving all details and they will definitely take necessary action and your Pension issue will be resolved. Also take up the matter with your latest employer. You have to follow up directly with the concerned Regional Provident Fund Commissioner. You issue will be resolved within 30-45 days time. more  
Write your grievances to Armed Force Pensioners' Association, address of which you can get from other senior armed force pensioners or by Google Search. To the best of knowledge, Thane Collector's Office has Armed Force Pensioners' Office, where you can get help for your pension. If no help is coming forward, then take up the matter in Lokshahi Din Complaint with Collector of Thane, on first Monday of the month, between 10am and 12.30pm, in Collector's Office. Take your complaint addressed to the Collector Thane, superscript on it, "Lokshahi Din Complaint". Make four copies of your complaint, add xerox copies of your earlier complaint to it. You have to submit 3 copies, one copy for your record. You can still give your Lokshahi Din Complaint, in three copies in a file, at Collector Thane's Office inward, before 14th of the month, under receipt, if you fail to go for Lokshahi Din on 1st Monday of the month.. If you are not able to go there personally, then send 3 copies by Registered AD Post, so as to reach Thane Collector's Office, on or before 14th of the month. For your any difficulties, come to Moneylife Foundation, near Chaitya Bhumi, Shivaji Park, Dadar West, Mumbai-400028, an NGO, on Tuesdays, between 5pm and 7pm, after confirming your appointment on Tel 022 49025000, with Shilpa, on Tuesday, 11am to 4pm. If you are not able to come to Dadar west, you may sent your grievances by Email to lrc.moneylife.in and you will get reply by Email. more
