Sanitisation n sterilisation of barber tools, linens, beauty parlours linenes, persons giving care

.
"SANITIZATION AND STERILIZATION OF BARBER TOOLS,LINENS,PERSON GIVING CARE "...

The above resource post appeared 8 months back in "Consumer participation Standards", when the Pandemic was in Nascent stage in India.
On 28th April,
Daily new cases were 1,800 (31,324 Total)
Daily death " were 69 (1,138 ")

December 24th ,
Daily new Cases 22,300 (101,69,818 Total)
Daily Deaths 336 (147,379 ")

IN BETWEEN THE PEAK WAS ON SEPTEMBER 16th.
Daily Cases 97,894
Daily Death 1,290.

THE CIRCLE HAS DUG UP THIS POST AT AN APPROAPRIATE TIME..I am forwarding here as the matter is more to do with the Pandemic, as we have been facing and fighting most months of 2020.

After experiencing all the above we Indians are wiser, Bolder to face Covid19 .

All the prcautions given in the Post and discussions on the subject show how alert we were to envisage even 8 months ago. The Barber shops and beauty parlous have been opened now with the precations envisaged in the circle 8 months back . Only difference then & now the shops ARE following the protocols.

The older ones amongst us will remember what transformation took place in the shaving equipments after the HIV/AIDS ERA in the mid 80's. No Blade is reused in the shops . They are thrown away.

All along we were tolerating / unaware of the unhealthy/ unsafe goings on like the following in the Hairdressing shop : In Barber shops
* the Barber comes close to the customer while dressing the hair .
*They do keep talking to the customer or with the colleagues across without MASK.
*Some of them may caugh or belch particularly after meals or breakfast.
* the same linen is used to cover, same brush to wipe the hair from the head, the same small towel used to dry the face and so on.
*some shops will always be crowded with friends filling up the furniture to chit chat .

ALL THIS IS WANNING IN THE CITIES . This will have to be followed in the smaller towns also.
Saving grace is some use dettol or sanitizing liquids to wipe but again with the same towel. more

Very true as the first 3 points indicate "In Barber shops * the Barber comes close to the customer while dressing the hair . *They do keep talking to the customer or with the colleagues across... * the same linen is used to cover, same brush to wipe the hair from the head, the same.. Now the Pandemic has made us aware of how we have been exposing all these years. I have gone for a trimmer and getting adept in the use . more
Maximum risk is from the barber himself, sanitization of tools etc is secondary. more
