Sarvana Bhawan Delhi serves lizard in sambhar

This is the place that has lines outside if you ever go to Janpath. Having eaten there 10 times atleast I must say I have found hygiene standards to be below average at best. I have found arrogance in staff as well as gate keepers as if they are doing customers a favour by feeding them. The founder was anyways a crook and was involved in crime against women in his seventies. Not going there again. more

It is generally said that the original owners of this chain of hotels were forced to sell it to people belonging to certain powerful political families in Tamil Nadu. I do not know whether this is true. However, eaarlier, their employees were well looked after; there was no individual forced tipping but people could put money in a box at the cash counter. The helpings were much larger than the present and certainly a lot cheaper. Now, most of their employees a disgruntled lot at least in the hotels I have visited in the last 3 years. Pity really. more

Yes they are arrogant because we throng there. You boycott and they will come to the ground level. Hygiene - lack of it should be penalised, if necessary with closure. Once closed people will think twice before going there. more
