Saskikala in line for CMship - is it democratic?
AIADMK members are urging Sasikala to become the CM. Can some knowledgeable members of this circle throw some light on how democratic this is, considering that she has never been in politics before, has not won in the elections. I understand that there have been such precedents, but are these valid enough. Does it mean that anyone can replace anyone in politics without the common citizen's vote? more

Well Said Ms Krishnaveni. I felt on Jaya's death, some good capable people would take over ADMK. There are a few in the camp. Yet ADMK wanted to reiterate to people that leader is 1 & all others are 0. The popular leader can be anyone without experience, without education, can be tainted one, could have gone to jail !!! The case of Congress is different. They clearly have 2 set ups. Administrative & party set up. There is a clear 2 nd line leadership, succession planning etc., I do not think BJP has the same. more

No self respected person would support sasikala to be CM and she wants military discipline too..!! What an irony..she speaks of discipline where this word is unknown for self and her groups. All the vandalisation, rowdism have been the marks of this lady from long time and was expelled by previous CM on the lines to control her from being in power. But the greedy AIADMK slaves have not yet learned to be independent and spined ones. They can not fool us because the POWER of selection is only in our hands and no where ultimately. finally, the party will vanish soon. This is only true democracy. more

IN A SIMILLAR WAY AND THEN SONIA BECAME AFTER RAJIV GANDHI IN THE SAME FASHION AND THE RESULT EVIDEND NOW WHEN SUCH POWERFUL PERSON LIKE MODIJI BECAME P.M. TO FURTHER TAKE CONGRESS mukth INDIA. IN TAMIL NADU ALSO HAS TO SEE SUCH POWERFUL LEADER TO ENSURE SUCH THINGS HAPPEN OR ELSE REST PERIOD WILL SEE LIKE OUR EARLIER P.M. In a democratic country anyone can become CM. However, People of Tamilnadu are Senseless and Stupids to tolerate all the dramas enacted by the AIADMKians in bringing up Sashikala. The Mannargudi & Co. was once known for its land grabbing activities in entire Tamilnadu and was the cause for removal of AIADMK ministry in the subsequent election. more
