SAVE ELECTRICITY
Now a days we are facing some problems due to electricity cut. But I have seen even when there are no problem we do not care about its savings and misuse.
I have seen lot of street lights, road lights blinking at day times and also lights are on before sun set and still on after sun rise. Lights in govt institutions/offices are not properly utilised as it is not their personal loss.
We have to take it seriously and find out some solutions to avoid it so we can save lot of electricity. Some Electricity employees are also making irregularity in metering to give benifits to custemers.
All of you are requested to kindly give your valuable solutions and govt should take it seriously.

LED exchange mela can be organized, where in we bring our old bulbs and CFL and take low voltage LED bulbs. this way the power consumption goes down over a period of time. we save and everyone gets. street lights can be solar powered. so they are off the grid and a simple photo sensitive cell can ensure, they switch on automatically when needed in dark and in the day they switch off. more

Randhir LED is better solution than CFL for outdoor. For study at home LED is not that good as of CFL /FL more

Automatic light switching on timer / daylight both are available. Technology is available but desire to implement is required.Let's wait & see , Give some time for new government to implement plans. more

I agree. CFL is one simple solution. Have just started shifting to CFL at Home and at work. If all of us do that, am sure we'll make some progress. more
