We need to understand that whatever we get from nature is not our resource and should and must not waste. Especially water being essential item and natural resource we need to use it very very meticulously as for many people across nation it is a rare commodity. So we need to tap it whenever we get it and store it. Rain harvesting system is an important tool in this and everywhere this needs to be installed. By and large, rain water goes into the ocean as we don't have proper way to store it for future use. Local body and people must go in hand to hand to make rain harvesting system a success. Secondly, local body must conduct awareness campaign about optimal usage of water and prevent its wastage. Wherever possible, we have to have a system to reuse water instead going down the drain. more
People carelessly waste gallons and gallons of water irrespective of everyone knowing about water shortage. One or two days if they don't get water they say it should be saved but the moment they get the water every thing is forgotten and all are back in routine to waste water more
