HOW DO YOU PROPOSE TO SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT WHEN TREES ARE BEING CUT ALL OVER INDIA, ON THE FLIMSIEST OF EXCUSES On Friday, 26 July, 2019, 01:53:32 pm IST, LocalCircles Manager wrote: more
Plastic manufacturers must look for other avenues in manufacturing. This is similar to manufacture of new items instead of obsolete or outdated ones. Yes, due to this, they may incur additional capital expenditure which is common in manufacturing activity. Nonetheless, government must extend subsidy to such indutries till such time they make break even. No doubt, cloth bags are durable compared to paper bags. Again to manufacture paper, wood is needed and in today's scenario as trees are cut for making and expanding roads or other activities which affect rains affecting agriculture besides drinking water crisis. As citizens, we must realise and carry our own cloth bags while going for shopping. more
What will be wrong if we ban the manufacturing of polythine bags ?? more
The ultimate expression of the human species is to be utterly selfish, many a time even at the cost of quelling and squishing other species if to survive! So if you take all that effort to create another of your own to pass down the genes..... Should you not have the min intelligence to ensure that their generation and times will also have equal or near equal Mother Earth, that you occupied, lived and went!? So do your part for sustenance if not for betterment! That is the least one can payback! For having enjoyed air, water and soil and naturally occurring elements FOR FREE!! FOR YOUR WORTHLESS, AT TIMES HARMFUL, PROBABLY SOMETIMES CORRUPT 70 ODD YEARS OR SO! IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE OF THINGS AND SEE THAT IT'S ALL INTER-RELATED AND INTER-CONNECTED, ALL THE EDUCATION, ALL THAT SOPHISTICATION AND ALL THAT CIVILIZED SELF OF "YOU" MEANS REALLY NOTHING. SAVE THE FLORA AND FAUNA. YOU ARE HERE TO AMICABLY, HARMONIOUSLY AND JOYFULLY CO-HABITATE THE PLANET BTW!! AND TO GIVE OUT ALL THAT YOU CAN, IN EVERY WHICH POSSIBLE WAY. FOR THAT IS AND CAN BE THE ONLY PURPOSE OF YOUR THIS LIFE AND LIFETIME. more
