SBI Credit Card Fraud

Hi,
A week ago I logged a complaint regarding an IMPS transfer issue with my SBI Bank on compalintboard.in an online forum for consumer complaints. Then a guy called me saying he is from "SBI refund group" registered in the website(compalintboard.in) contact mobile number-9911031445 and asked for my contact details. I had a doubt from the start and recorded the conversation. He promised me to deposit the money in my banks and asked for my ICICI debit card details. Finally I caught him when he asked me for the OTP.I declined he said that he is closing the complaint and the issue will be solved at the home branch. He is a spammer and my complaint is resolved by SBI a day later.

Please be careful on these frauds and never reveal your personal details in public forums or to them even though they claim to be bank guys.

Today my fried has lodged a complaint in SBI customer care for his blocked SBI credit card.He got a call from an unknown number claiming to be SBI Customer care and to solve his issue they collected all his details .Finally he revealed the OTP and then an amount of Rs.7888/- merchant "Salemall Epay Kerala " has been deducted from his account.He called SBI customer care to restrict the transaction but they simply refused to do because it is approved by him.Now he has gone to the Cyber crime department to file complaint in this issue.
This fraud when i checked online a lot of complaints on the same merchant "Salemall Epay Kerala" is there for more than 3 years.

Is there any way to put a case on SBI Credit cards for not blocking the merchant and denying the customer even though we identified him as a fraud by giving all the details. more

The biggest problem is that the bank cites the reason of rejection of claim because of a 3D Secure transaction. The customer is left in the lurch. It has no faith on its own customer but expects its customer to believe the bank. With 36 lac frauds happening, the bank still feels that their site, cards and transactions are infallible. Banks fail to realize that their customer has lost his money by a fraud. It is not necessary for them to look into the customer's claim. In case he is entertained, their claim of "3D SECURE" transaction would be in jeopardy. more

I have similar received phone calls from the following mobile numbers seeking details of my credit cards so that a credit of Rs.8,320/- can be given to these card accounts. The name of the site is "E-Pay Kerela". It appears this site does not exist. The Mobile numbers and the time of receipt of the calls received on 10th Dec 2016 are : 1. 8467016533 - 13:01 hours 2. 7291039174 - 16:52 hours A complaint was lodged with the Police station on 19th October 2016 regarding fraud on the credit card and the matter is under their investigation. I have lodged my complaint for anti-phishing with the bank. more

This is called fraud recovery fraud. This fraud happens when former fraud victims are told the money they have lost can be recovered.
