Scary , Red + sign on home entry Gate.
Hi, we live in Amrapali Green, Indirapuram.
On our neighbor's house entry gate, from last 2 days someone is marking + sign with Red colour on their house entry gate.
They saw that yesterday and rubbed it. Today again person has marked it.
Person is marking it in evenings between 4pm to 10pm.
Sign size is like our hands size. he is using Red sketch pen to mark it.
They live on 6th Floor.
Could not get any help from lifts cameras, as this person is not coming thru lift, he is using stairs.
He has done this twice, yesterday and today.
Don't know whats the intention behind and what he is trying to convey? or what it can be?
and how we can catch him.
Any experience in this, please share, will be helpful for them, They are nice people and have kids.
They and kids are scared because of this incident happening again. more

They found the person 2 days back, I called them today morning to know who was doing it. It was their part time maid. She is illiterate. She is new appointed 7 days back. Since she cannot read numbers, so she was marking gate with her sindhoor (kumkum) as an identification to know that this is the house where she has to go and work. They got to know when they opened the door and she was marking on the door. Chapter closed. more

I would be scared too if something like this happens to our flat. Do let us know who was it and why he/she was doing it once you find out. Good luck! more

Renuka .. FIRST ...STOP THE PANIC . This is likely someone from the building trying to either play a stupid mischief, or creating a scare . BUT.. do not ignore this and be alert . First , I suggest , meet all residents of the building along with the RWA and openly raise this issue so all can hear it . check if this has happened on any other door of the building. As already mentioned by others , involve the RWA and the Security agency . Ask the residents to be watchful if any of their servants is playing around with a red sketch pen ...make them aware . if your RWA is not effective , then either get additional camera installed on each stair landing and wherever necessary . The way things stand today , use this opportunity to meet other residents in your building and improve communication ...this really helps , you will see . In case any domestic help is caught , he shud be thrown out of the building to ensure discipline and compliance !!!! Best of luck . more

Some one is trying to scare you/them and he has succeeded. You / them must not bother or get scared and thats the end of it more
