Dear M. Ashok Dubey, I suggest you to kindly visit few government schools in your area, meet students, meet teachers, talk to them, find about the constraints, the problems faced by them, these days it is a tough task to be teacher in government schools, before blaming them and asking to fix their responsibilities find out the reality- what is the truth? I share your concern and wish the situation in govt. schools to change, but lot needs to done before fixing responsibility of teachers. more
In my opinion, all the Government Schools have trained teachers and they are able to deliver the best education if the task is taken strictly from them like public schools. When the head of the school will be slack then the staff will enjoy and the students will be most sufferer. The Principal of the school is not disciplined so the teaching staff is not disciplined. In Public school, the teachers are not trained teacher rather they are less qualified than the Government School teachers. But only one thing which attracts the parents is only discipline and neat and clean dress. The personalty is recognised from the dress the one wears. It make the ward very smart. Therefore, it should be incumbent on our part to keep the teachers in the purview of discipline. In Government school admission is given to irrespective of one's status. Government is providing free books and clothes to the poor students. While providing admission in the school , parents must be told to send their ward neat and tidy. To inculcate discipline amongst students is the responsibility of the teacher in the school. Through this way, we may attain some standard in the Government School and the people who are crazy to send their ward in Public school may change their opinion. Ram Yadav more
In all govt. scholls there is some common problem such as first there is not any discipline either in teacher or in students. No cleanliness, all the staff are not think about what is their duty and responsibility towards the school, student and society. Teacher are only engage in personal discussion. If any body can fix their responsibility everything will be fine. more
During interaction with Parents, the following emerged : 1. Practically all schools have weightage points for - i) Neighbourhood, ii) Alumini & iii) Sibling. All these are understandably good practices. 2. Then we have management Quota followed by 3. Random selection process. which may include subjective evaluation like giving marks for Parents achievement, lottery system etc. Our suggestions : Point 1 is ok, Point 2 shd be eliminated altogether or restricted to 10%. Point 3: Subjectivity in pt 3 to be replaced with objectivity. Achievement can be categorised as a) Educated Mother - This will help in bringing up the child. b) Educated Father. c) Special qualification like - honours from reputed Institutions. d) Parents achievement may include - Publication in Papers , Magazines, State level players, cotribution to music, society etc etc. Lottery system should be the last resort as it unnecessarily brings in the LUCK factor. more
