School Reopening in Delhi
Localcircles is doing polls on schools reopening and it seems that people are 50-50 to send children to schools from august 1.
This is very dangerous because of delta variants still out there. Long covid in children is a reality. My worry is Kejriwal and company takes Localcircles polls seriously and acts and we at this time dont want them to open schools.

if students can roam around , go for holidays in hill stations its better to be in a restricted controlled environment like school rather than loitering around more

Till such time that schools open up physically ... They should be charging only half fees for conducting only online classes for their students ... and even paying their staff half salaries only ... whether government or private. This would be the fair and just way. more

1. What are schools doing, saving costs they earlier incurred on utilities, mid-day meals and overheads, paying teachers the same salaries they gave before the pandemic, demanding more from parents, while teaching staff spending extra money on various bills that schools save, in conducting classes from home as also are students. This letters serves attention directing cause. Audit school's accounts! Some transparency needed. 2. Credit accrues to Government in handling pandemic. Government also responsible for checking such schools suo moto decisions, or simply provide help from PM CARES fund towards aiding education too, that being a development goal. more
