Schools may be opened in districts with zero cases

Many of you participated in the July Circle survey on reopening of schools. Below link has the findings of the survey which suggests that 48% parents won't send children to school till they are vaccinated, 21% will send regardless and 30% will send if cases locally drop to zero.

School Reopening Survey - July 2021

This indicates that schools in those districts where cases are zero or negligible may be opened along with empowering the District Magistrate and Schools to take their own calls. Do share the same with your parents/school groups, friends/family/social media contacts as well as any others who may be interested. more

Safety of life of the children in the present scenario , that too, when the third wave of the virus is predicted any time from now and said to be more lethal, is more important than schooling. Hence we should wait till their vaccination . Instead of wasting time and energy for reopening of schools and colleges, children's safety should be more focussed. more
Out of 734, 46 Districts are Covid Spread. more
While Mr. Balasubramanayam's concept is acceptable in general, wherever schools reopened with ZETO CASES, within few days many students tested positive and schools were shut. In order to overcome infection, all students be vaccinated prior to sending them to school. All students be taught and/ trained breathing exercise, yoga and asanas making students fit with immunity clear lungs. Schools must inform all students strictly that they should bring warm water and home made lunch/snacks etc.,besides compulsorily make them wear face shield and mask. All students be thermal temperature , oxygen test at main gate. Any students have temperature or oxygen variations, their parents be informed straightaway. more
Subversion of an ideological and conceptual issue, i.e., schooling ought to be free as a right in a welfare state, being done on technicalities, an easy escape route that capitalist forces may use for propogating their right. Yet, Azim Premji has advocated opening schools. Does he need schooling for himself! Far from that. Capitalists, therefore philanthropically using their wealth, also exist. more
Obviously this is advocating the government's case, which has conveniently allowed schools remaining shut. India going the capitalists way Government should audit school's income, as a social duty insofar as delivering right to education for the poor. School costs now are nil. Costs of teaching bourne by teachers teaching from home. Capitalists, themselves educated in premium schools, now deciding all about education. Uneducated parent too have a right that their progeny get educated for free. Many educated people supporting school reopening, but many want them remaining shut. Netizens must experience those situations experienced by the poor. Schools perform a socialist function too, remember. http://righttoeducation.in/know-your-rte/about more
Schools must be opened else the youngesters will get restless and mad. Now it's more than 18 months and definitely precautions will be exercised both by parents and school authorities. The more it's delayed the youngesters are made useless more
