SDMC-Housetax paid online and it took less than 5 minutes.
Everything is great about SDMC except looking after tons of illegal constructions,carried out fearlessly during past 3 decades by connected builders who have been targeting vulnerables people
SDMC needs more police force..
Incase of old buildings,having tons of illegal structures,area police can make a direct FIR because of risks of-
Building falling down like a pack of cards,because old foundation cannot take so much of loads of illegal rooms and toilets,added after MCD approved maps and issued Completion Certificates
Risks of natural calamities like earthquakes.
Risks of Fires due to inflammables used as false ceilings under illegal roofs
Wishing for swift action against Illegal Constructions in Delhi also more

Dr Neelam Nath ji sdmc has only done one thing that is to collect the revenue else nothing has been done by sdmc in tear2001 my property was constructed by the builder unauthorised i made several complaints from A.E, J.E., E.E., D.C.,Commissioner mcd townhall, chief vigillance commissioner, even my one relative file the case for unauthorised construction in tees hazari court and mcd officials were party also in that case but not present in that case as sdmc officials think that they are higher courts from the honourable lower & high court and only reply to honourable supreme court sdmc take bribe as they collect the revenue like housetax online else didnot done any work to achive the goals thanks more

For past 25 years,I am living in my first floor apartment,surrounded by illegal structures and toilets on ground floor and barsaati floor..to make these floors converted to commercial establishments.
I cannot open my windows,because there are illegal toilets below on GF and protruding structures on barsati floors having inflammable materials as false ceilings.
Common areas to Exit are blocked by both parties.
I Have Been Complaining to MCD/Area Police/CP Police/SDM/Fire Safety...because our building has 60 years old foundation on small plot of 208 yards.
I keep working,online through telemedicine,despite these people.
Centre of every house has open space-Brahmsthal.
Even center of building has illegal toilets on floor above and below my first floor.
25 years ago, I hads to get raw roofs of illegal structures, cemented by mason who worked non stop in June-temp.47 degrees
Because of illegal toilets on ground floor,I have kept lots of plants to ward off smell and plants are flourishing.
Just because I am happy to pay housetax online,because it saved me from visiting MCD office.
I am still awaiting action from relevant authorities,who wake up only when fires/natural calamities take place and innocents are killed.
I purchased a flat in 1982,CC and maps were approved by MCD in 1981 and I visit offices,taking along documents as proofs..

We should make best use of services offered to us by civic agencies like MCD. If we are given a choice to pay house-tax online,why not do it from comforts of our homes? At certain places,RWA is holding special camps to help seniors and others to pay house-tax and lots of paper work has to be done by others because most of senior citizens are either not netsaavy or scared to use credit cards ( if they have any) MCD was ready to remove Encroachments today. We are aware about after effects Congress and AAP leaders squatted in front of bulldozers ! Do these leaders realise that 40 feet road,going towards NOIDA is encroached upon. I wish that these vocal leaders live in apartments,surrounded by Illegal multiple structures,including illegal toilets all around them. It is easy to criticize MCD. Junta has to look within Those who have been supportive of illegal structures,have no right to criticise MCD. more

I am surprised to find at least one person who is happy with SDMC. There is not even one thing good about working of SDMC. I am a gallantry award winner & I am exempted from property tax .But I have to pay Education Cess. And to pay this I have to make trips to their office as their website accepts my exemption but asks me to pay full tax. Since cess is supposed to be be on tax which I am exempted from, why do I have to pay cess ??🇮🇳 more

huh there are Faujis fighting for 50 years to recover their tenanted property, rented when posted by GOI elsewhere and people are bothered about education cess more
