Govt of the day needs to be strong and bureaucracy needs to be patriotic and Not self-serving, for most of the improvements good for a strong healthy nation to be implemented promptly. Sadli second aspect is lacking. more

Sir Desikachari Venugopal your reply itself betrays your argument - is it not Govt's failure if innovations don't get recognition or its due? If Govt. is strong & pro-active & bureaucracy thrown out of window innovators wouldn't face this apathy. Modi was voted in just to straighten the rot set-in, but failed. more

Why suddenly bring the Government into the picture? And why the last 5 years government only?
There are plenty of innovations taking place in India. But we never notice until the West adopts it and sells it back to us.For example, bio compostable leaf plates made of areaca nut leaves.

It is good idea but Technology Transfer is expensive. Needs to be exploited to cater villages in India. more
