Security at Hotels cant find weapons

this BSP neta's son flashed gun at Hyatt Regency Delhi hotel last weekend, the question that I have is what was hotel security doing. Security does namaste, checks cars and then lets them go. Either they are just doing for sake of it. Why are there no standards for security in the country? Can the Delhi Police, LocalCircles take this up with Home Ministry? Otherwise, how are we supposed to feel safe when going to hotel, mall, airport, railway station, hospital if such gun flashers are sitting next to us...Hotel and security agency should be held accountable as much more

First and foremost, entry to wherever public at large visit should be frisked thoroughly at the entry point itself irrespective of politically standing and/or otherwise. Frisking should be made mandatory and should be done only by security forses like CISF, BSF, etc., and the Hotels/Malls/Shopping Complexes/Markets should bear the expenses thereof though they will be reluctant to foot the bill, in the interest of public, they must bear. While Hotels, Malls and Shopping Complexes will pass on the burden to the guests/shoppers, markets may collect from shop keepers by way of monthly subscription through the market Association. Even the RWAs may do this exercise. Insofar as keeping the gun in the glove compartment, a person who has obtained the same with valid licence, will not leave it in the glove compartment and would certainly carry along with him and when he knows he is likely to be frisked, he will not carry with him. And thereby the chances of opening fire and/or pulling out gun in a public place is somewhat arrested though entirely not ruled out. Above suggestions are good to read and certainly nobody is going to implement them in the letter and spirit with which it is written. more
He should be punished , no need to waste time in court. Video says all. License , no license no one has a right to show his gun to others, this is illegal more
If we unite, bycott this HOTEL more
I agree that Hotels must do better checks, which, in fact most good hotels do. Though no one checks Glove-compartments for weapons. However, in this particular case, the pics/ videos show that the person has not even entered the hotel. Seems to be just outside the main building, though has entered the premises. more
Despite punishment (on public outcry upon his acquittal); 'No One Killed Jessica' like heroes are roaming around us. more
