Security Guard Company Protocol for Schools
Security guard companies in India ranging from companies like group 4 to secure 24 and sis to swift, most of them enroll local people (many a time unemployed fellows) to become guards. many of these guys feel like bosses after wearing uniform. most of these companies are poor at processes.
we should brainstorm what should be security processes do's don'ts like we review other subjects in many circles and prepare a basic list that every schools MUST get their security agency or management to follow.

It is very unfortunate that a responsibility like security is being shifted to security guards instead of blaming the school management, police and govt. What a great responsibility being assigned to a person who has no authority yet being held as responsible and we all including electronic and print media is only concentrating on security guards. No body has spoken even a single words about lapses on the part of management. let management look after the security . how they ensure it, pl leave up to them. Do not try to blame the security guards for such a poor administration. more

Demand on security of individuals is increasing everyday. Everybody palming of responsibility to Govt/police/ security has become order of day. It is time to think of other alternatives such as try out options for admission in nearby school, train children to not accept gift/food items from others etc more

Government must make it mandatory for all Public and Private School's and College's in India to install CCTV camera in class room's, in School /College premises and at entrance and same should be linked with Government Educational Department so that Government can easily monitor the Teacher's if involved in child abuse case and any criminal activity conducted in School or College premise's. The CCTV can also be linked with local Police Stations using advance technology and can be used for online digital surveillance to keep a Tab on crime in School premises. If Roads can be monitored using CCTV camera 24/7 then Why not Schools/ Colleges. The video footage can be used as proof to lodge case against teacher's and criminals under Child Protection Act. Private Intelligence and Security institutions were run with best Security & intellectual intelligence provided . These have been grossly diversified and also diluted since after 1995 where the Business ethics even in Journalist Electronic Media have been side tracked in majority . Even by 2001 , I had seen guards looking like patients and even do not know Attention position [ though young ] dressed as Security guards being deployed at public Ceremonies and , Residences . Even Retired are also being in employment even in '15/'16 . The present status is very much to be set right by the Policing conducting periodical inspections not leaving any even Run/held by the Retired Police Staff . Private Security Services in deed serves the best in the increased criminal nature in Towns and Cities . more

The prompt action by the Supreme Court in the incidence is praiseworthy as it will ensure speedy and impartial outcome with active role of investigating agencies. The Court may look into making current management defunct and bring new management to run the school to build the confidence of students and the parents and to ensure that students do not get discouraged from studies under fear and uncertainty. The new management could have senior and experienced experts available (including retired) from CBSE, Haryana School Board, NCERT, NIUPA, MHRD as well as law enforcing agencies and judiciary. This team could utilize the unfortunate incidence as an opportunity to bring in place a practiceable system for others to emulate and ensure safety and security of the students in schools. more

We ask Govt.system to become honest ,should too be adopted in pvt system ;appointment to all serious places/positions to be got done thru expert consultant who will submit the procedures they will adopt in selecting capable one as per requisite need(set-point- wise principles) under verification of management too with submission of proof/documents (genuine)-not an eye wash. If known incumbents are chosen ,one should submit his responsibility /assurance will be needed ; school authority/authorities must store these records /digitized .thnx. more
