Senior citizen concession

It is very sad that the rail mantri has said in parliament that senior citizen concessions will not be restored again. It is even sadder that mla and mp and their family’s concessions and free bies will continue.

If you have any conscience atleast take them away too please. Otherwise u are just promoting VIP culture in railways more

None was carried out, as due, last year, therefore according to the 2011 decennial population census, 8.6% of our population constitutes senior citizens and trains have a complex network all across India, so if we consider the concession being provided since decades, how much would restoring them cost the railways? Give and take is a phrase in English language, wherein one gives before taking, yet the railways taking only. Railways affords enough scope for such grace, given the vast train network running 63,950 kms, over 81% electrified that the railways has expanded to. Railways, our nations most environmentally friendly overland transport option deserves better adoption, with restoring these discounts. more
This Govt is least bothered about the plight of Senior Citizens. Interest rates are falling, Medical Expenses are sky rocketing, Inflation is very very high. more
This is Good Decision. Freebies , Concessions should be stopped. Instead of begging for concession put Pressure , Vigilance on rly. to get good service & Better work p[performance. Another the Peoples who need actual support they never wrote on social media. The Concession for wealthy sr. Citizens Should be ruled out totally. For Your Information I am also Sr. citizen. more
Ministers fill their own pockets only , ALL KINDS OF DISCOUNTS & FEEBIES should be stopped for all government officials except for army navy airforce who truly serve the country . more
