SENIOR CITIZENS MOST CHEATED BY CORPORATES ON REPAYMENT OF FIXED DEPOSITS AND INTEREST

MANY senior citizens are cheated by the corporates by inviting fixed deposits and the senior citizens fall prey due to better rate of interest and their inability to manage day to day chores. The govt. is not at all bothered inspite of COMPANIES ACT PASSED RECENTLY THE COMPANIES LIKE UNITECH PLETHICO PHARMA ETC. DO NOT REFUND THE DEPOSITS AND PAY INTEREST. THE GOVT. IS TO TAKE CARE AND ENSURE THE MONEY IS REFUNDED. more

Already a case is going on in company law board , Some properties have been identified for disposal under CLB supervision, thereafter when some money comes, only then co. will pay , or realty sector improves & money for unsold properties has been realozed. So till then whether one is a senior citizen or not will have to bear . more

In case of Companies, the victim may complain to the Registrar of Companies with proof for redressal. The Registrar is likely to wake up only if there are many complaints with proof. more
