CAN ANY ONE GUIDE AS TO WHAT WOULD BE THE FATE OF THOSE CAR WHO ARE WELL KEPT AND MAINTAINED WELL BUT ON THE VERGE OF COMPLETING 15 YEARS?
I AM TOLD THAT SOME STATES HAVE STARTED RENEWING SUCH VEHICLES ?
I, BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN, CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY THE NEW ONE BUT I NEED ONE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. more

I fully agree with the sentiments expressed above. The pollution free condition of the car is more important than the age of the car. more

I join Mr Walia and I support him. For any Senior Citizen in 70's, it is not possible to buy a new car. If the car is in good condition and is pollution free, life of car should not matter. It is sad that in our country, the chronological age defines everything. If you reach 60 you must retire, irrespective of your good health and active life. If you don't get pension what do you do for your remaining 20-30 years.... I understand in many countries age is no bar for retirement. If you are active and in good health, you continue working in your profession....We have wealth of knowledge and expertise with senior citizens who are willing to work and need money to live but nobody is bothered for this class of citizens and life has become very difficulty for no fund in-flow and expenses are increasing month after month....How long the savings can support.... Once you start consuming savings (in addition to interest) then savings diminish exponentially.... more

T.R.Walia ji it will be suitabily replied by BJP President or our PM who set senior BJP leaders aside like Mr LK Adwani. So please sell out this car and buy a new one which will be best to use in your remaining life. Our PM has ruled that old ones are not required hence old car will not be best to use in old age. more
