Service Charge Form Design
I suggest we design a format that becomes must implement by Consumer Affairs for all restaurant/hotels. thought below:
1) Restaurant bills the customer and presents the bill.
2) In bill at bottom at the bottom is proposed service charge asking Thank us for good service by paying a service charge (Yes, No) Box
3) Consumer has option to check
4) Bill generated as per consumer preference.
I have been to many restaurant where I didnt want to pay service charge of 10% as it amounted to 300-500 rupees for group dinner. I still paid 50-150 as cash tip before leaving.
