Several states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh have banned online school classes for children in Grade 5 and under. What should be the way forward?

Lockdowns are imposed to arrest the spread of pandemic which is taking gigantic strides. It is done with public health interest . But school children can't be denied their scholastic development though big crowds are not advised in campuses or class rooms .
The online and zoom facility is being utilized by forward thinking schools . There is no need to put a spanner in the spokes . Let those go ahead . The students shouldn't get rusted like our politicians and burocrats. The online education should continue for students .
Now the problem is not all have access to the net and zoom facilities .

SO THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT MUST HAVE A TV CHANNEL EXCLUSIVELY FOR THIS PURPOSE; THERE SHOULD BE TIME SLOTS & CHANNELS FOR DIFFERENT CLASSES AND GO AHEAD WITH THE ONLINE CLASSES THROUGH TV ALSO . ALMOST EVERY HOUSEHOLD HAS TV . SUCH OF THOSE WHO DONT HAVE AUTHORITIES MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR STUDENTS IN CLUSTERS , FOLLOWING THE NORMS AND PASS THE BENEFIT OF SCHOLSTIC DEVELOPEMENT . more

In Bihar one village school use mike to impart lessons to students of primary level maintaining social distance. Since play grounds are empty, make shift camps may be erected and classes may be conducted using above method. more
Today's children are born with gadgets, hence for all practical purposes envisaging any other pandemic, compulsorily introduce 3 days school and 2 days online classes. All approved TV channels should have schedules for telecast of these for the benefit of remote . This is besides regular online at schools. more
I entirely agree with Shri Jayakumar Daniel. RYK. more
It is good that the online and zoom facility is being utilized by forward thinking schools, because the study and habit has to continue. The timing can be in morning hours for atleast two hours. more
Very rightly said that the Ministers are elected without education then why education. The democracy what we have chosen has overlooked the education hence to day we are in the mess. We have many Engineers, Graduates, Postgraduates but fit for Class Four Job or for the Job of Janitors. Who has to be blamed for the same?. Pandemic further pushed the children to the mess and the Politicians are rewarded saying NO EXAMS ALL PASS. Some did in haste, some still thinking to apply these ideas to the Graduates so to get the Votes immediately. When we talk of on line classes we turn back to the old story of Poor illiterate parents and not able to get one Computer or Laptop. Some states have religiously distributed lap top free and some gave TV then why this fuss. Every Village has a community hall and the Government can provide /or ask the companies by of CSR to provide the sufficient quantity of Laptops and Computers for attending classes. Therefore when we talk of a strong nation we have to be strict for better education, better economy and better ARMY. We are leading to some thing else leaving the points mentioned. The Public should only vote and account the person elected and make him responsible otherwise the People Representation Act should be amended to dismiss the elected representative after six months if he is not proving beneficial for the Public and not himself or for his family members.(He should not be given Pension and other benefits too) The we may improve in the name of democracy. more
Exactly. Rights Part III of Constitution left off Education the Base of Life Article 21. Schedule 7 Listed do not confine to the Mandates of Article 12 and 36 . Principles of Rule Articles 38 to 48 kept away from Coverage of Part III Rights , Part V , Executive, the Governance .
These 3 Fundamentals of Livelihood were thus ignored keeping in the Hands of Legislators whose Conduct Character and Sanctity to Rule WAS SET ASIDE.
This is why Reforms altogether are fast needed more
