Whether Technology and its advancement are turning out to be a Boon or a Bane is quite often the topic of debate. Anushka had initiated a discussion to perhaps get feedback on what people felt in this regard.Some decision taken by Government are done so taking views of experts and perhaps they felt that pornography on mob./web would perhaps divert the focus of young minds who should be only focusing on studies. As if the distractions in schools, classes and society were not enough, we have added entertainment (24x7) in our home with DTH. Before advent of DTH when Cable Operators were in good business, I remember way back in Gujarat (Baroda) our society cable operator would often fix a time-slot for adult content movies streaming after 11:00 p.m. Then when he ran into objections from some household, he stopped it. However when he went door to door to collect the fees, many men requested him for resuming of the movie services of late night. Unable to decide, he sent his wife for follow up collections and this time the ladies were requesting the cable fellow's wife for the late night show. This was way back in early 90's. Now cut to 2018, many youngsters stay awake through the night or have very late sleeping hours. Also with Mobile gadgets enabling them downloads through routers and wifi connections and sharing from friends....youths these days have far too much reach and access to the once restricted adult domains. So what they need right now is a guide, a friend or someone who can show them right track....else our young minds would end up in agony and torment. more

Though number of Posts and huge comments had been on Unlawful, Illegal Sex and Rape of both Genders even of Children, Needed Protests from the side of Parents i.e., the Mother , the Father , the Grand Father , Grand Mother is very very very little and BECAME SUCH THAT THERE SHALL NOT BE ANY WAY OR MEANS OF Discussions, Exposive Pictures in any field of Print and Electronic Media , Social Media including the newly introduced Apps. Ofcourse, the Governments are not at all in a position to curb Advertisements of such in visuals of 24 hour T.V.Channels . But, this also not to be take in the Society if opt to be away of these . Laws , Police , Judiciary are there for all in the Country to settle the issues of Unlawful Sex , illegal Sex , Rape etc., including the newly allowed Sex by the apex. more

I vehemently oppose Anushka because mobile has become inevitable evil for children of 5 to 10 age group.Our culture is entirely different. Our Sastras teach us what is good and what is bad for human life because our basic tenets are that all human beings should live 100 years with good physical and mental health. When a child of 5 years old sees these pictures , certainly his mental age would become twenty.There the child's agony begins and he would not concentrate on seeking knowledge or any thing.So What Government of India has done is absolutely correct. Character is very very important in everyone's life.It is good for every one to have a strong mind in a strong body. Further there are certain things to be made in public and certain things to be done in private.For example Marriage is a public affair. But Shanthi Muhurtham/first night is a private affair.The human society /Indian Society will be in order only if this is followed strictly. Bad things will always happen,so it is for us to be careful.Bad things are exception only.In India 99.99999999999999 % of the Indian population are very very good natured and follow their own moral rules from time immemorial, from Vedic age.That is why India coexists peacefully with plurality society with multiple culture, multiple faiths,underlining human faith in God. So what Govt.of India did is absolutely correct.Hats off to Govt.of India for this bold decision. more
