SFS Flats in Saket are full of stray dogs (also all saket, including Anupam PVR complex). Despite repeated requests nothing happens. There is an activist living in our area who is passionate about stray dogs and also feeds them too much. Many residents and maids have become victims of bites; children, old and even adults are dam scared to move around, sometimes dogs move in hoards specially evenings and its scary to even pass by. The littering is another menace. Can we together make Mod Sarkar and Corporation take some concrete steps more

You must get the dogs in your area sterilised and vaccinated, write a letter to People For Animals, 14, Ashoka Road, New Delhi - 110001 and speak to them about your problem and they would surely help you out, by sterilising the dogs population will come down and by vaccination there will not be any chance of rabies. Dogs are teritorrial animals and if you remove them from your colony then other wild rabid dogs would take over there territory, so it is better you right to People for Animals and get help in getting the present dogs sterilised and vaccinated, the programme is free of cost and you will help yourself and your society. more
