Under which law Transport Authority and Trafic Police allow 12 people in the Auto 4 people in drivers seat also to jeopardize the life of commuters.
Why police are not deployed at starting points to regulate these.
Some times they misbehave with commuters also by deboarding passengers who do not adhere or refuse to share drivers seat. more

Unfortunately in our prevailing society we have people who justify the overloading act under the umbrella of; - poor - downtrodden - needy Etc. Added is the flavour of bribing intention for wrong act and police attitude for haft collection. Under the circumstances no improvement could be ascertained or expected. Of course the consolation continues; " things will change." more

It is tragic experience in almost in all busy routes asggurgaon from bus stand to diffetent sides , going towards greater noida thru these autos etc . Here if simply blame to auto drivers it is not logical as lot of people and full chain is involved to support drivers unscrupulous practices. Hence these demands a scientific system to regulate , whole lazy /careless government machineries need to be geared up. There should be fear of law in drivers if they violate andthis is not ppossible simply by traffic police , a well constructed mechanism as cctv / etc to round the corner checks in all the auto routes .Once a strict machnism is evolved I am sure discipline would the part of working and hence better system. more

Mr. Vijay Seth is right. Such violators should be penalised heavily. I know the bstrict rules abroad. For example in Dubai, even if some one crosses the road from any where except the pedestrian crossing, he/ she is fined AED 200 (INR 3400/- approximately) what to talk of other violations. more

Totally agree. Very sad the way Traffic Dept is monitoring the Traffic rules which are blatantly flouted every minute of the day. Every time I see a motor cycle rickshaw overloaded driving without any worry about driving rules I feel sad. Same is the condition with Autos and the Taxis who drive left and right posing grave danger. The dept needs to be strictly monitoring violations and penalising errant ones. more
