Lockdown should and must be lifted in Tamilnadu for the following reasons.Temples cannot be shut down for Bakthas for a very long time.Infact 1000 years ago Sri Ramanujar opened the temple for all sections of people to pray god.

The Tamilnadu Temples are built due to agama shastras and tomorrow is Tamil new year day. The name is Sarvari. The temple deities will have special abhishekam which is more important than corona. Definitely Baktas will come to temple to have darshan of lord.

And basically we are believers of Astrology which is unique for our our country. It is because of this belief and devotion to God by all Indians irrespective of caste creed prevent revolution like French Revolution.

Thanks to Jayalalitha madam. Cho sir , Former Editor of Thughlak, once said, about jayalalitha this. " She boldly entered into a party, which has no faith in God, 90% drunkards ( once Chief Minister late Annadurai of Tamilnadu out of context in a press meeting , that only name DMK is Udayasuriyan, but our party men will see only noon sun, which means they would get up only at 12 noon ) and converted them to pray God and she was responsible to light lamp in small temples.

Tamilnadu is a temple city having Temples from Time immemorial.Rameswaram temple, madurai Meenakshi Temple.Hanuman culture is famous and Namakkal Anjaneyar temple is very famous. Mathamatician Ramanujan once said , Namagiri Thayar of the temple used solve the problems in his dream.

Ranganathar Temple In Srirangam, Kabali and parthasarathi temple in Chennai are not only famous but also gave very good life Chennai people. There so many temple in Tamil nadu.

What is a guarantee there that corona would vanish in fifteen days .is there any magic wand in the hands of Centre and States hands? EPS can tackle verywell the corona without lockdown. He had been trained by Amma. BJP is like old man in the sea in Tamilnadu. If EPS is going to follow centre ( I am sure Centre will continue lockdown) both BJP and ADMK would not even get a single vote in 2021 elections.
I remember very well It was Jayalalitha Madam caught hold of IS terrorists from Tiruvallikeni during her rule.So also Our EPS is capable of controlling the minority community. They cannot wag their tails.
During Jayalalitha period 2001 to 2006 was a golden period and she had managed both finance and water excellently. Water harvest was done by her only in whole India. Unfortunately, her health and bad association caused her great loss in personal and public life. But She had great faith in God like Gandhiji. Even our EPS has. I doubt the Centre whether they are believers of God.

I want to ask a question to Uddhav Thakre. What happened to "Ganapathi bappa Moria" Has he lost in Lord Ganesha after joined with Congress. My considered opinion is that Tamilnadu should lift lockdown or at least allow devotees to go to temple with all precautions.Jai Hind Vande mataram. Temples shoulld be opened and all pujas, rituals, etc should be peformed as per Agama shasthras. But only the purohits and the Priests should be allowed and not the general public, owing to social distancing. If opened for public, it will create havoc and take the COVID status to much higher levels. It wil pose a great disaster. Instead, we should set an example by dis-allowing public gathering and stream the pujas and rituals, live on TV channels. That should be a better option than public gathering at the temple, especially at such a situation. more
Sure. But let us follow common sense. The pujari is allowed to make pooja. He can complete the necessary formalities without opening to general public. Good for general if we do it quietly and set example against congregation. more
yes ..all worship places are important and it was made by man to gather all the people with same vibration which will bring some power. But no religion request anybody to come to certain location to pray. If you are not safe and comfortable, due to sick or age, you are free to pray God from your home. So, under the present COVID 19 circumstances it is better to stay safe as per Government's instructions. more
Go to a madrasa...they are open for infection. more
