Everyone please vote on this so we dont pay a bomb for covid 19 tests done at private hospitals and labs more

Reports suggest that the Government incurs a cost of INR 6000-6500 for 2 step COVID-19 test. If private labs are allowed to perform this test to have enough testing facilities, how should the pricing be done?

Private lab in participation in identifying Ncovid 19 effected patients should be welcomed. Specially for those who can afford it. Govt services are freely available, people can readily avail it. But private hospital should also be welcomed as they create alternative resource as well as second opinion. more

These types of hospital must be banned completely and doctors, owners must be put behind bars, while government has already made all tests and treatment free of cost the private hospital must also do the same it is chaos in world at present so in india. more

I totally agree with sachinji, firstly panic for common cold shuld be removed by way of awareness either through print media or the tv, radio source as panic always deteriorate the conditions we all should take proper care of ourselves and then to others if the panic testing is not done our facilities are enough to get tested as shortage makes market for some. i had seen how masks and sanitizers are sold nowadays more

1) First of all testing should only be done when necessary or advised (should come from designated person) to not overload the system. 2) Private players should be involved and keep the price close to cost 3) Free tests should only be given to really needy (people who can afford should volunteer to pay) more
