I do not use hand-sanitizer at all. My daughter keeps one in her handbag - one purchased about 2 years before (50 ml -'Dettol' brand), which is yet to be half empty. She had also given one to me - outer cellophane cover also remains intact. Why one needs a hand sanitizer? I don't take any food outside ( save and except rare occasions - that too after ensuring that adequate facility of washing hands and face is available). After, returning to my residence, remove the shoes and was hands and face with soap ( usually toilet soap - sometimes with hand-wash liquid. Remove the outer clothings segregated - not in contact with other belongings of the household - awaiting wash. If the same is to be used, exposure to direct sunlight for about half an hour is considered ( subject to the grace of the Sun or his cover by cloud). True, the contemporary global crisis, calls us to be extra-vigilant. I shall urge every one to avail 'hand-wash' - which is much more effective and economic. All offices, organisations should provide facilities for hand and face washing instead of distributing hand sanitizers, and keep vigilance that none enters their premises without hand and face washing. more
