Shine.com is fraud, it earns money by duping job seekers

I am currently residing in Indore with my husband. I am shifting to Delhi for better job opportunities. My husband is currently working in pharmaceutical company. Since we decided to shift, my husband registered himself on Shine.com. On 1st September, he received a call from an agent from Shine stating that if he goes for paid services from Shine he'll be able to get job more quickly as they know the jobs available in a new city better and according to his qualifications. He was asked to pay Rs. 2949 for the same. The agent said that after this no payment shall be required in future even if he does get a job and wants to change it. We agreed to pay the same as it was true that while sitting in Indore finding a job in Delhi is difficult. My husband was asked to mail his resume and was told that an agent will be in touch with him shortly. On 2nd September, an agent called him and asked him to pay an amount of Rs. 8813 towards modification of his resume so that the chances of him being selected are more. This sudden payment took us by surprise and my husband said while talking to the agent before, this was never mentioned. The agent said that we have to go through around 3 lakh resumes and if modification is required only then do we ask for payment. My husband then asked specifically if after this any further payment will be required from our side, and the agent specifically said that NO PAYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED AFTER THIS and within 15 days he’ll line up interviews for him. We agreed to pay the required amount for his career. After payment, they said again they’ll get in touch next day. On 3rd September, the same agent called and further asked to pay the same amount, i.e. Rs 8813 towards further modifications towards my husband's resume. This time my husband became angry and asked why this was not clarified before, he was put touch with a senior. That person said that their process requires 3 modules and that each module is chargeable. My husband told them that this was never clarified in the very beginning. Even when asked, the agent, after paying Rs 8813, had said there shall be no more payment from our side. Then why are they twisting their own words around. He once again said that they have to select from 3 lakh resumes and that their process requires 3 modules. He said that it should have been pretty obvious to us as consumers that each module is chargeable and we should have that sense to think in that direction. I would once again like to mention that all these details were NEVER mentioned, neither the three modules nor the charges otherwise we would never have gone for paid services. There was NEVER any TRANSPARENCY since the beginning from their side. When my husband asked for refund, they mentioned that it is non-refundable and that was never mentioned before as well. Please note that my husband is the only earning member of our family currently. After paying rent and other expenses, an amount of Rs. 11762 matters a lot to us. They would have recordings of their talk with customers and yet they have denied everything they said. They never give the details in the beginning because once you are in, they know we'll have to pay the remaining amount. And if we cut short in between they'll have earned some money. Fraudsters!! more

I was also duped by one company in same manner more
Very sad state of affairs. You had approached Shine because your husband was looking for a job and this agency has fleeced you. I am not able to understand human nature. Don't people have any conscience when they withhold info and cheat people. Everyone are going through tough times during this pandemic period. None of the companies share full details in advance as we may not go for it. You should always record your conversations. That's proof you have. I would suggest you write a strong letter to the head of the company clearly stating all the details. Say you will take them to court unless they refund the amount. As your husband is from pharma, I had worked in a pharma mnc in Gurgaon. Please connect with me. I might be able to help him, if you are interested. more
Don't pay any amount to any one any how, No body can ask for money for such jobs or recruitment so be aware more
