Shoes - never on ecommerce

Folks - do not do not and do not buy them on ecommerce sites like snapdeal and flipkart, even amazon (unless cloudtail seller) as most of these shoes are fakes.

The discussion conducted here and the poll is highly relevant but big question is will consumer department enforce any thing.

If they do this mess can be put to end. Lots of people dont realise they are buying these fake products for themsleves and children. more

Few months back, I purchased a puma shoes found good. more
I have been regularly purchasing Shoes from Amazon and I have never experienced any problem either with quality of the product of the size of the Shoe. Therefore, kindly do not make general statement that all e-commerce portals sell substandard products. Moreover, I find that most of the customers of such portals give strong recommendations and expressed their happiness and satisfaction about the products & services obtained from the portals. Unless, one has a specific case to cite, it may perhaps not be proper for one to brand all e-commerce portals sells inferior or substandard quality products including shoes please. Whether one likes or not, in this era of digitilisation, e-commerce transactions are there to stay for ever and one cannot ignore this fact. Even if one experiences any issue with any specific product purchased, one has amples channels available to to get such issues redressed. One should also take into consideration the diverse advantages to the consumers, including cheaper price, saving of one's time, etc., factors while advocating against e-commerce purchases. more
Please note that most of items sold by eCommerce sites are mostly rejected pieces by the manufacturing companies. more
Thanks for Good Information more
Amazon.com is also not "the holy place" for e-commerce. So far as shoes are concerned, I always got one shoe half an inch shorter than the other. I did not get even "third time lucky". That was goodbye then!!! At the same time, why order shoes on e-commerce sites when local open markets (not shops) are full of the very same shoes at perhaps cheaper prices!!! more
