Shortage in weight on goods supplied by Amazon
I had ordered thermocol beans for a bean bag. The order was for 1 kg beans. When the package came it did not feel as it was 1 kg. When I weighed the package, it was short by 300 gms. The package is still intact. Where does one lodge a complaint for the less amount of beans supplied by Amazon. Will be grateful for guidance from the group members. Thanks, Aditya Kishwar more

You could have talked to Amazon over telephone on the issue and returned it to them instead of referring it to the Local Circle. more

You can always return it immediately to Amazon. But the real issue is how it has happened? Had it not been noticed; which might be happening most of the time; it would have been a loss to the buyer. more

Time could be running out. Amazon has a time limit for return of consignments. Mention the reason and return. You can call Amazon on it's toll free number and enquire the process of return: 1800 3000 9009 and 1800 267 7777 more
