should be placed under "Limited Emergency"

In my report to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GoI, suggested that this particular segment of healthcare delivery right from medical education, to pharmaceutical industry to hospitals, to pathological & diagnostic labs should be placed under "Limited Emergency" for a period of not less than three years with "No Appeal, No Dalil" powers to the governments at the Centre and States.

I request the participants here to give your views on this suggestion. Thanks more

Can you suggest similar things for other businesses?? ________________________________ From: G. C. Mathur Sent: Thursday, December 7, 2017 10:11:13 AM To: bhatiakanwal@hotmail.com Subject: "should be placed under "L..." more

Will it not enhance corruption affecting common people? more
When I mentioned about the 1974 Emergency days, I did not mean that it was all a wonderful period. No. I just tried to bring home the point that it is the only way to improve a chaotic condition with the stiffness of 'No Appeal,No Dalil'. Otherwise, what all you said about the Emergency is largely correct, meant for a political goal not for the implementation of rules of democratic governance. more
I smiled when you quoted Rahul, Ketu and Shani. In fact my belief is, if some good things are remaining in our society that is only because of these three. I also remember certain events of 1974 emergency and we faced lot of difficult time primarily owing to the fact that we belong to the families supporting Real Congress. My father had provided me a lot of facts about the political situations and the Emergency was imposed only for some vested interests of Indira Gandhi and to crush those people who were opposing her for the sake of country.
Personally, I will never support Emergency Style of Administration as this has caused lot of corruption which are posing problems even today. more
In the proposed Limited Emergency, the idea is to first check corruption followed by administrative and procedural issues with the stick 'No Appeal, No Dalil'. I remember very well the past Emergency days, and can say that the corruption had been limited to almost zero level. Only the very daring person could indulge in wrong practice. We know that Rahu, Ketu and Shani are 'amar', and so will remain the bad element in all forms or sets of governments. more

We need not necessarily adopt Cuba Model, but adopt a policy that suits our socio-economic-cultural diversity. more
