In fact this is the voter of Ghaziabad who deserves to be congratulated first for showing showing such a thumping preference (and for keeping the winning margin little lower for not to outshine Mr Modi's record win). This is also a fact that Ghaziabad's voters are highly disillusioned with their representatives in parliament for their traditional ditching acts. No one has really seemed to show interest in the welfare of the city/public. This time the election was very special. People voted for Mr Modi, than for BJP. and Gen. Singh comes third in the merit. I am sure he realizes the fact. The big victory margin should not be mistaken for a vote for Gen Singh's popularity. However, Gen Singh and Mr Modi deserve for our hearty congratulations for this big victory and forming a majority Govt. at the center. Tomorrow never comes. Act is initiated today only and gets culminated today only. Mr Modi will be judged on his deliveries at national level, but Gen Singh will only be able to reclaim his seat at the sole strength of his work at local level. Gen Singh is lucky that at his first tenure itself he has been offered a ministry but there is lurking fear... that he would hardly be able to pay attention to his constituency. Who will nurture the same..? Big question...but not so tough as well..! Being a career services person and by training, Gen Singh should know multitasking very well. The way he has been chosen by Mr Modi, Gen. Singh also has to appoint a custodian and team who can deliver and look after his 'Ayodhya' (read constituency) in his absence. Taking care of a city like Ghaziabad is not an easy proposition and that too, combining with the highly inefficient local administration and non-cooperative state Govt. Ghaziabad is often treated as poor man's goat by the state Govts. without realizing that the city is actually a Jersey cow with big potential to milch big revenue if treated well. Your dear constituency looks forward with high hopes from a soldier like you. You have to win this war for sure...Good Luck Gen Singh! We are with you. more
Gen. V. K. Singh many many congratulations! on your success and becoming M.P. We hope under your able leadership Ghaziabad will see new prosperity in development of this region. We hope soon Indirapuram & Vaishali will see a great change and commuting services (Bus services) form these areas to Delhi and other NCR region will also be started. Lets hope for the best! more
