Shut down EPFO
EPFO should consider shutting down and allowing us to transfer our accumulated EPF corpus to NPS. It's taken 6 months to merge my brother’s old EPF because a DA clerk was transferred, and the new one started "only 2 months" ago so My 'file' is still in the queue 🫠.
Now, imagine an elderly person from a small town needing their money after decades of contributions, only to face such delays because someone, somewhere, isn't available or lazy. Why harrass us with linking Aadhaar and PAN if simple tasks like these can't be automated and instead rely on random, inefficient individuals?
It's absurd that this unproductive group is guaranteed an assured & indexed pension!
Sigh.

Government should consider closing EPFO as it is not serving any useful purpose. EPFO has crores of unclaimed amounts. Many frauds are going in collusion with employees of EPFO. Now instead of contributing to PF it should be compulsory to contribute to NPS.

I don't know how you are saying this. I myself have merged various EPF accounts easily. Please complete your problem.

EPFO is a parasite org. This should e a case study in MBA to teach how companies should NEVER work ! This is ONLY financial org I have heard that credits interest due on Holi is creadited by Diwali !! @epfo.official

epf is a white elephant and by themselves they do not do anything and we keep our money there for no reason since their service is hopeless and also money does not appreciate much.It has lost the very purpose it was started and with so much technology they are a laggard and there inefficient people are there and do not work similar to any govt organisation
