Side lower and side upper seats in AC 2tier

Why railway charge Side lower and side upper seats in AC 2tier as per AC 2 tier fair because side lower/upper same as per 3tier seats so why we pay extra charge. It should charge as 3tier fair. Otherwise remove this birth from 2tier coaches. If u r agree with me then think on it. Thank u more

AC 2 Tier compartment is less crowded and this needs to be taken in consideration . Hence side lower or upper berth travel fare is justified I believe. more

Yes, nothing special about 2nd AC, same width, same height. But should consider the total number of passengers in 2nd AC/3rd AC coach. Similarly, if you think RAC.. we are booking for berth, but not allocating. Any way we charging for berth. Can you see any difference in refund amount while cancelling a ticket with RAC? more
