Sir/madam, I married in august 2013. i have a baby girl. ln july 2015 my wife with kid went to my Father-in-laws house. after that she doesn't want to come to my place(we have no issues with each other). my family tried in all possible ways to bring her back. and from other sources we came to know that they are expecting a big amount from us. according to me she's forced by Father-in-law for not joining with me.otherwise she is ok to stay with me. and from past 1 year i'm waiting for her. can somebody suggest me can i give a "LawyerNotice" to my uncle to send her back.
The reason iam asking for this is "they are threatening me if i ask her to come back they will put a case against me with "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE".

There are several incidents like that quoted by Mr Chetan Choudhari. Unfortunately it s increasing trend, due to mainly the Extra Trust entrusted before the time. The remedy available is to knock the doors of Court. more

If you feel that your wife is interested in coming back to you ,somehow confirm then You can file case under section 9 {Conjugal Right} If she is not interested any type of case under 498A & 406,maintenance can be filled against you .So first try to get exact intentions of your wife. more

I have handled such similar case. In this wife was just postponing for returning date. She just came in house for 2-3 days & promised some 3-4 month time to come back. Then started all drama unfolding. After 2 moths the husband got mediation notice. immediately one fine day she had taken all the jwellary from locker , without information. Husband was till that time in so called "LOVE" for her. Now facing DV, 498 & Divorce . The settlment amount is 80 Lacs-1 Cr. A tactics for earning money. This couple too have a girl child. I hope this will not be true for all. You can file Sec 9. i.e. for coming back & living together. more

This type of cases are really helding everywhere. In this circumstances let the girl to go anywhere else. They don't want peace in family members. They love money. They don't know how to serve the husband. Money is all to them. It is better not to give any importance of her. After some days the person should marry. There is no question to give any amount as the wife has gone with daughter own personal interest. Treat the case as simple not major problem. more

There is a book called Domestic violence against Husbands,please buy it and go thru it and you will find enough solace and guts to tackle your problem,and be assured if you do not take the first step going against them you are inviting the trouble you are anticipating. more
