Skimmers on ATM machines

Recently some atms in delhi/ncr got skimmers put on them By hackers. These skimmers basically illegally store passwords and all card details that we enter in an atm machine and then the hackers have a way to use the details at other atm machines to withdraw cash.

40 people had atm withdrawals from their account last week.

My point is once again - why isnt the Govt holding banks accountable. If someone went to an atm and installed this skimmer what were the security guards and camera doing? Or do the skimmer installers make them partner in crime. more

Initially, Guards were there and the fraudsters were apprehensive to do any mischief in the ATM counter. But off late the Security was withdrawn and many miscreants are hovering around the ATM machine to find guliable customers to chit them various means. Let the Bank authorities provide security personnel in the ATM counter. more

That is so true. Bank should be responsible only. Security of that company should be terminated and sucurity guard locked in jail and made to pay the penalty too. more
