Slowing down speed of superfast trains

To make Vande Bharat trains seem fast, other superfast trains are being slowed down. This is the most ridiculous railways move. Read attached and oppose this non sense friends more

That needs a broad survey with statistics of passenger's movement and track occupancy with improved communication net working and connectivity. We can't decide many things just like that. more
Adding stoppages to trains flagged-off with lofty promises is nothing new. Howrah-Nagpur-Mumbai Geetanjali Express was flagged off during 1978 (or 1979?) with Mumbai-Bhusawal-Nagpur-Bilaspur-Tatanagar-Kharagpur-Howrah. Compare with present schedule! more
Clean the superfast trains superfast. Hasten the train turnaround time. That's the urgency. Filthy trains unacceptable. Not just Vande Bharat, in all trains "Swachhata hi sewa" tatpartaa se avashyak hai! before making write up try to understand rly. engineering. Half knowledge & narrative is most dangerous. There is no connection of Vande Bharat & Super fast trains timing except getting priority. Vande Bharat is nothing but MUMBAI AC Local Advanced version. more
My latest personal experience from Duronto Exp reveals that they have tried to increase the max. speed limit of some trains to 130 km/h in between the stations, and our train really achieved 120-125 km/h during some of the sections, but the real problems is they have newly introduced some more halts (experimental basis? which is almost certain to be confirmed) for some of these trains (e.g. Badnera halt for Mumbai-Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto). Thereby the average speed of the train reduces drastically & the corresponding increase in running time! They should reverse such decisions of additional halts. Also once there is some delay, the train almost certainly, never makes up for the lost time, this also needs to be given due consideration. more
