Smart tactics of CNG station servicemen

I have come across some clever tactics of the CNG pump servicemen. This incident happened twice with me at the petrol-CNG Co-ed station near Ansal Plaza, Andrews Ganj. When normally you go for the CNG refill, the amount that comes out is like Rs. 347 (if you go for full refill which normally everyone goes for at a CNG pump). While refilling of the CNG of my car, I took out my debit card for paying but the guy said that the card machine was not working. Now normally, everyone would either take out a 500 rupee note when the amount comes out to be around Rs. 347. These guys take the wholesome amount, that is, Rs. 340 and say that they don't have change. On that particular day I did not had change and was also in a hurry so I agreed (as I had no choice).
But the same incident happened to me after a few days also. That time I bluntly refused to give the wholesome amount and gave him change. And then when I started to go from the station, I saw a couple of card machines on the petrol filling side of the pump (since the pump is Co-ed with both Petrol/Diesel and CNG). Why can't they take the card machines of the petrol filling side since they are also a part of the same station.
By this clever tactic, these people churn out a good amount at the end of the day. Please take care of such smart tactics of people at the gas stations.

Nothing uncommon in our country, anywhere, anytime! It goes under the impression that when all sorts of our netas continue to loot our country in tens and hundreds of crores of rupees and yet going scot-free without any accountability and answerability, crying and creating a scene for a small change, that too with petty men, viz., the servicemen at LPG, fuel bunks, auto/taxi drivers, LPG-delivery boys, toll booths, etc., looks odd and embarrassing. Why, it happens in nationalized banks too. The bank staff simply leave their counters on the pretext of 'server down' and the Chief Manager and down the line, like sitting ducks, remain watching or sipping 'chai' after 'chai'. Let's pressure the government to make card transaction only compulsory everywhere and where the machines do not work, the man behind them must be made to issue a proper receipt and tender exact change to the customer with the onus being shifted to the shop/establishment owners. Everyone of us must feel responsible to usher in good governance; it's not left to one Modi or one PM or somebody. Till such time, just like you, we must go prepared for all eventualities. more
Next time while going for a refill, take along with you a cover of 10 Rupees coins and you just give them the Credit Card/Petro Card. If they refuse to accept it. Tell them to fill the car and just give them the cover of 10 Rupee coins. You can get it in the RBI. Tell him that it is exact change of 347 and not a penny more or less. Just drive away from the station and call the nearest police station and lodge a complaint against the Petrol bunk. more
smart cities should have smart pavements. which will take us where we wish. there should be only no/zero emmission cars. more
It should be mandatory for Filling Station/other retailers salesmen or cash counters to have change like countries like USA/Canada. They return even a penny. more
Before asking them to fill the Gas, ask them whether their Debit card/Credit card/Petro card swping machine is working and no cash would be given. more
