Smog Update reg School Closure
जिलाधिकारी गौतम बुद्ध नगर ब्रजेश नारायण सिंह ने जनपद में कोहरे एवं ठंड को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए आगामी 2 दिनों तक दिनांक 9 एवं 10 नवंबर को जनपद के नर्सरी से लगाकर कक्षा आठ तक सभी स्कूल बंद करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। जिलाधिकारी का यह आदेश समस्त सरकारी स्कूलों, CBSE बोर्ड एवं आईसीएसई बोर्ड पर भी लागू होगा।

1. A drive should be made to vacuum-clean the dusty roads in urban area. 2. Uninterrupted power supply should be ensured so that DG sets do not have to be operated. Fortunately, during this time of the year, power load is below the peak. 3. Burning of tree litter and garbage should be banned for the present and, if possible, at all times. Likewise, there should be a short-period ban on dismantling of buildings, and excavation and transport of soil and sand. 4. Children and the elderly should be advised to avoid outdoor exposure, especially near sunrise and sunset. Even healthy adults should restrict outdoor games, jogging and brisk walks. 5. Employees that have to remain outdoors should be provided with masks. 6. Other persons may also be advised to either use masks or, at least, to kept a moist handkerchief over their nose when out doors. 7. Use of indoor plants that reduce air pollution may be encouraged and facilitated. 8 People may spare water to sprinkle on roads near their dwellings. 9. Media should be invited to disseminate all actions necessary to be taken immediately. more
